Robert Richardson Sears

Robert Richardson Sears was an American psychologist whose research examined child-rearing and personality development. He also held senior roles at Stanford.

Education

Graduated from Stanford in 1929 and earned a Yale doctorate in 1932.

Career

    Directed the Iowa Child Welfare Research Station.

    Led its Laboratory of Human Development.
