Moshoeshoe I
Moshoeshoe I was the founder of the Basotho kingdom. He brought communities together during regional warfare and defended their independence against competing African and colonial powers.
Early life
Chiefly family
Was born Lepoqo, the son of Mokhachane, a local chief.
