John Clauser
John Clauser is an American physicist who helped turn a philosophical dispute about quantum mechanics into an experimental test. He shared the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics with Alain Aspect and Anton Zeilinger.
Early life
Scientific family
His father was an aeronautical engineer and his mother a humanities librarian at Caltech.
Physics training
Studied at Caltech before completing his doctorate at Columbia University in 1969.
