Lee Camp

Lee Camp is an American comedian, writer and political commentator. He hosted Redacted Tonight on the Russian state-funded network RT America from 2014 to 2022, then continued producing online comedy and commentary. His public positions include opposition to Zionism and support for Palestinian rights.

Early life

Maryland and Virginia

Grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, before his family moved to Richmond, Virginia.

University humour

Studied at the University of Virginia and wrote humour columns for The Cavalier Daily.

    College writing

    Completed his run as a University of Virginia humour columnist and published a collection of his columns.

  2. 2000s–2010s

    Stand-up and online comedy

    Built a touring comedy career, contributed humour writing and developed the video series Moment of Clarity.

    Hosted and wrote Redacted Tonight, a weekly political comedy programme on RT America.
