Zelmo Beaty was an American basketball centre who played in both the NBA and ABA. His rebounding and scoring helped the Utah Stars win their 1971 title.

Early life

Texas schooling

Grew up in Hillister and played at the segregated Scott High School before attending Prairie View A&M.

Career

    Selected third overall by the St. Louis Hawks.
