Véronique Tadjo
Véronique Tadjo is an Ivorian writer and artist raised in Abidjan. Her books include reflections on the Rwandan genocide and the Ebola epidemic.
Early life
Two creative traditions
Her father was an Ivorian civil servant and her mother a French artist.
Literary education
Studied in Abidjan and completed doctoral work on African-American literature at the Sorbonne.

Taught English in Côte d’Ivoire at school and university level.
