V. V. Ganeshananthan is an American novelist and journalist whose fiction follows Sri Lankan families through conflict, migration and political change.

Education
Graduated from Harvard in 2002, earned an MFA at Iowa in 2005 and completed a journalism master’s at Columbia in 2007.
