Toyo Ito is a Japanese architect whose buildings explore light, movement and the changing life of cities.
Early life
Japan
Grew up in Shimosuwa after his family left Korea.
Education
Graduated in architecture from the University of Tokyo in 1965.
Career

Worked for architect Kiyonori Kikutake.

Established the practice later named Toyo Ito & Associates.
