Satyajit Ray
Satyajit Ray was an Indian filmmaker, writer, illustrator and composer. His films found drama in family relationships and social change, often through patient observation rather than spectacle.
Early life
A creative family
His father Sukumar Ray and grandfather Upendrakishore were writers and illustrators.
Art education
Studied at Santiniketan after attending Presidency College in Calcutta.
