Ole-Johan Dahl was a Norwegian computer scientist whose collaboration with Kristen Nygaard introduced influential ways of organising software.

Early life

Education

Studied numerical mathematics at the University of Oslo after his family returned from wartime refuge in Sweden.

Career

    Developed simulation languages at the Norwegian Computing Center.

    Became a professor at the University of Oslo.
