Max Whitlock is a British gymnast especially known for pommel horse. His combination of difficulty and control brought Olympic and world titles, with an announced return to competition after retiring following Paris 2024.
Early life
Starting at seven
A friend from swimming introduced him to gymnastics at the Sapphire club.
