Mary Forsyth is an American-born rugby player and administrator who helped establish the women’s international tournament.

Early life

University

Switched from athletics to rugby while studying at Penn State from 1977.

Career

    Move to London

    Moved to London and joined the Finchley club before its move to Richmond in 1986.

    Played against Sweden.

    Served as the inaugural tournament’s financial controller.
