Luciano Pavarotti
Luciano Pavarotti became an international opera star through the clarity and reach of his voice. Television and large public concerts later introduced that sound to listeners who had never entered an opera house.
Early life
Music at home
His father was a baker and amateur tenor. Singing in a local choir connected Pavarotti’s childhood to Modena’s musical life.

He worked as a teacher while studying singing with Arrigo Pola and later Ettore Campogalliani.
