Larry Holmes

American boxer known as the Easton Assassin. He won his first 48 professional fights and held major heavyweight championships between 1978 and 1985.

Grew up in Easton, Pennsylvania, and left school to help support his family. Began boxing at eighteen after working manual jobs.
