Kapil Dev
Kapil Dev was an Indian fast-bowling all-rounder who could change matches with bat or ball. His aggressive cricket helped India win the 1983 World Cup, and he later passed Richard Hadlee’s Test wicket record.
Early life
Chandigarh childhood
Grew up in Chandigarh, where he attended DAV School.
Haryana cricket
Made his first-class debut for Haryana in 1975, taking six wickets in his first innings.
