John Eccles

John Eccles was an Australian neurophysiologist whose work investigated communication between nerve cells. He shared the 1963 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

Education

Qualified in medicine at Melbourne in 1925 before doctoral study with Charles Sherrington at Oxford.
