Ivan Sutherland
Ivan Sutherland is an American computer scientist whose Sketchpad system demonstrated a new way to draw and manipulate graphics on a computer. His later research and teaching helped establish computer graphics as a field.

Engineering studies
Studied at Carnegie Tech and Caltech before completing his MIT doctorate in 1963.
