Early life

Colour and displacement

Learned about colour in her grandfather’s pigment business. Fled anti-Jewish persecution to Switzerland in 1943 and began designing handbags there.

    Established Roberta di Camerino after returning to Italy.

    Fashion show

    Presented the label in Venice.

    Licensing

    Closed the fashion house to concentrate on licensed products.
