Emily Nasrallah

Emily Nasrallah wrote novels, stories and children’s books rooted in the experiences of Lebanese families. Her fiction returned to emigration, women’s lives and the damage war brings to ordinary communities.

Raised in al-Kfeir, she pursued further schooling with family support and graduated from the American University of Beirut in 1958.
