David Lynch
David Lynch was an American filmmaker and visual artist whose work found menace and mystery beneath ordinary surfaces. He moved between experimental film, Hollywood features and television while continuing to paint.
Early life
Moving childhood
His father’s forestry work took the family between several American towns.
Painting first
Studied art, including at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
