Christian de Duve

Christian de Duve was a Belgian biochemist who shared the 1974 Nobel Prize for discoveries about the organisation of cells.

Early life

Education

Born in England to Belgian wartime refugees, he grew up in Belgium and qualified in medicine at Louvain in 1941.

Career
