Bishnu Dey was a Bengali poet and critic whose modernist work linked artistic experimentation with social and historical concerns.
Early life
Calcutta education
He attended Sanskrit Collegiate School and studied English at St. Paul’s College. Western classical music and Marxist thought became lasting interests.
